As well as being an in-house writer and full time team member for Ghostcraft, Highrise is also a successful artist in his own right. Get ready to learn.

Born and raised in Iowa (we know, right?), Highrise’s unique brand of pop-hop is both urban and also weirdly a little bit country, without either element stepping on the other’s toes. You’ll have to hear it, we guess.

With Highrise’s first official release featuring indie juggernaut Hopsin, it’s safe to say this country boy got off to a pretty good start in rap. The Red Room now sits at over 2 million streams across digital platforms… and it really was just the beginning.

Soon after, our Midwestern heartthrob found himself on tracks alongside major artists such as Snoop Dogg and Royce Da 5’9. Then, he put out his single Hunnit featuring Florida rapper Hi-Rez (we know… Highrise, Hi-Rez, it’s a hoot).

THEN, dark hip hop, Indie producer, LX Xander went and recruited Highrise to feature on the spooky producer’s remix of the classic Alien Ant Farm cover of Smooth Criminal, released through our friends at Cleopatra Records.

He did a BANG UP JOB.

With all his hometown homies rockin’ his merch and fans all over America bumpin’ his tracks, Highrise is on the way up. His debut EP is about finished… and between you and us… it’s like, REALLY good.

Look out for it real soon, ok?

Oh, and a little trivia for his adoring teenage girl fans: he collects snapbacks and loves Supra sneakers. Buy him some.
